SIOUX FALLS S.D. —- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team took fourth at the Augustana Invitational with 860 points.
South Dakota finished first in the team standings with 1,664 points, while South Dakota State took second with 1,082 points. Augustana came in third with 1,065 points also.
The Mavericks 400 freestyle relay team of junior Elise Mishmash, junior Olivia Hudoba, junior Ella DeFever and freshman Kolby Schendel finished fourth with a time of 3:30.11
Senior Kailyn Arps took third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:21.81, with freshman Megan Schultz following in fifth with a time of 2:22.42.
Schendel took sixth in the 100 IM with a time of 58.86, while Mishmash took sixth in the 100 freestyle (51.26).
Minnesota State returns to action on January 21 as it takes on Sioux Falls in Mankato, Minn.
