Biography
2024-25: Took fourth place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:33.28 vs. South Dakota…Finished second in the 200 IM vs. Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stevens Point with a time of 2:17.25…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
2023-24: Finished 10th in the 100 freestyle vs. South Dakota with a time of 55.58…Took second place in the 200 backstroke vs. Concordia-St. Paul and Southwest Minnesota State with a time of 2:14.04…Won the 200 IM event vs. Southwest Minnesota State with a time of 2:16.76…Notched personal bests in the 100 butterfly (58.88) and the 200 IM (2:11.56) at the NSIC Championships…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
2022-23: Finished sixth in both the 50 freestyle (25.48) and 100 freestyle (55.58) in MSU’s double dual against Truman State and St. Cloud State…Recorded a personal best of 24.00 in the 50 freestyle, 52.58 in the 100 freestyle, 58.25 in the 100 backstroke and 58.86 in the 100 IM at the Augustana Invitational…Finished fifth in the 100 IM (59.61) at the NSIC Championships.
High School: Earned all-conference honors 7th-9th grade and as a senior, to go along with all-conference honorable mentions as a sophomore and junior...Earned academic all-conference honors every year and was a two-time section champion in the 100 freestyle as a junior and senior...Was a five-time state qualifier and finished in the top-8 in the 100 freestyle at the state meet during her senior season.
Personal: Kolby is the daughter of Tera and Rick Schendel...Majoring in dental hygiene.
