Mankato, Minn. --- The Minnesota State volleyball team continues with another week end of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches. The Mavericks play at home Friday at 6:00 p.m. against Minnesota Duluth and Saturday against St. Cloud State at 2:00 p.m.
Minnesota State is 6-13 and 5-6 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The Mavericks picked up two wins last weekend downing Minnesota Crookston 3-2 (25-16, 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-4) and Bemidji State 3-0 (28-26, 25-19, 25-22). The Mavericks won four out of their last five matches.

Toryn Richards had a remarkable performance with 26 kills hitting a .238 percentage, added two aces and two block assists.
About the Bulldogs: #2 Minnesota Duluth stands second in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference following the seventh week of competition. The Bulldogs are 10-1 in conference play and have an overall record of 18-1.
Cianna Selbitschka is leading Minnesota Duluth with a total of 214 kills.
