Mike Hastings has announced that goaltender
Alex Tracy has signed a NCAA Letter of Intent to attend Minnesota State University and play hockey for the Mavericks.
Tracy, a Chicago, Ill., native, is in his second season playing with Sioux City of the United States Hockey League. In 14 games played with the Musketeers this year, Tracy owns a 8-3-2 record with a 2.32 goals against average and a .912 save percentage. He was named
USHL Goaltender of the Week earlier this year after posting back-to-back shutouts in a pair of wins over Fargo Nov. 12-13. As a member of Johnstown of the North American Hockey League in 2019-20, Tracy was named the East Division Goaltender of the Year and Rookie of the Year after going 17-4-1 with a 2.12 goals against average and a .935 save percentage in 24 games with the Tomahawks.
Tracy joins

BCHL) as a member of Minnesota State's recruiting class for 2022-23.
All signings are contingent upon admission to Minnesota State and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
