St. Cloud, Minn. --- #10 Minnesota State took on #1 St. Cloud State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual in St. Cloud Saturday and it was the host Huskies that came away with the victory.
The loss, in which Minnesota State won two of ten matches, brings the Mavericks' record to 8-2 on the season and gives them a 6-1 mark in NSIC contests.
The Huskies upped their record to 19-0 with the win over the Mavericks.
The Huskies won the first three matches of the dual before Maverick senior
George Farmah claimed a 1-0 decision over Garrett Vos at 133. Junior
Logan Saltou also picked up a medical forfeit victory at 165.
Next action for Minnesota State is tomorrow with a road dual at MSU-Moorhead slated.
