MANHEIM, Pa. --- A total of six Minnesota State wrestlers have earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors for their efforts on the mat and in the classroom.
Senior
Chase Beckett, sophomore
Colton Hush, junior
Walker Bents, senior
Caleb Meunier, senior
Kole Marko and senior
Drake Hayward all received NWCA Scholar All-American honors.
Award Criteria
- All-American at the 2026 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 GPA
- National Qualifier to the 2026 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA
- Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA
This is the second time that Beckett (133 lbs.) has earned the honor. He is majoring in construction management and advanced to the NCAA Championships before finishing his season with a 29-11 record.
Hush (141 lbs.) earned All-American honors as he finished third at the NCAA Championships. Hush finished his season with a 30-12 record and is majoring in construction management.
Bents (149 lbs.) finished in sixth place at the NCAA Super Region V Championships as he posted a 26-8 record. He is majoring in exercise science.
Meunier (157 lbs.) has been named an NWCA Scholar All-American twice and finished fourth at the NCAA Super Region V Championships in fourth place with a 29-7 record. He is majoring in construction management.
This is the third time that Marko (165 lbs.) has been named an NWCA Scholar All-American. He finished his season with a 10-4 record as he advanced to the NCAA Championships. He is majoring in finance.
Hayward (174 lbs.) earned All-American honors as he finished in seventh place at the NCAA Championships behind a 33-9 record. He is majoring in finance.
