Mankato, Minn.--- Minnesota State finished second with a total of 115.5 points. The NSIC Indoor Champions were the Marauders from University of Mary with a total of 163.50 points. The competition was held at Myers Field House in Mankato, Minn.
Elizabeth Brunner (12.15m- 39-10) was the NSIC Champion in the triple jump picking up ten points for the Mavericks.
Alexis Smith (8.45) was the NSIC runner-up in the 60m hurdles.
The 600m final saw
Autumn Anderson finish as the NSIC runner-up with a time of (1:36.27).
In the 60m dash finals
Khenadi Jones (7.56) was the NSIC champion and teammate
Grace Hartman (7.62) finished as the runner-up.
Bobbi Patrick (2:13.63) added a third-place finish in the 800m final.
Rachel Schumacher was the NSIC runner-up in the high jump with a leap of 1.66m (5-05.25).
In the 200m dash final Hartman (24.59) was the NSIC runner-up.
The shot put saw
Heather Buckler claim the NSIC title with a toss of 14.64m (48-00.50). Â
In the final race of the day the 4x400 team comprised of
Mackenzie Woodard, Hartman,
Crystal Malone, and
Rose Gaye (3:55.12) took fourth place.
Up next, those who have qualified for nationals will travel to Pittsburgh, Kan. for the NCAA National Championships March 8th and 9th.
