BISMARCK, N.D. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis went 1-1 this weekend in Bismarck, N.D., as it fell to MSU Moorhead 7-2, before topping the University of Mary 6-3.
MSU now owns a 3-6 overall record, including a 2-4 NSIC record.

Kylie DeWees and sophomore
Monika Ryan. DeWees bested Swenne Albert 6-4, 7-5 in the No. 3 singles match, while Ryan defeated Olivia Keelin 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 2 singles match.
The Mavericks finished the weekend with a 6-3 win over the University of Mary. MSU began the dual winning one of the three doubles matches. The duo of junior
Erin Streeter and Ryan bested the team of Lucia Bolibruch and Kelsey Lajom by the score of 8-4.
The Mavericks finished the dual winning five of the six singles matches to lock down the 6-3 win. Streeter defeated Bolibruch 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match, while Ryan charged past Lajom in the No. 2 singles match by the score of 7-6, 6-4. Freshman
Camila Ojeda won the No. 4 singles match by the score of 6-2, 6-4 over Danielle Wolf, while freshman
Tyanna Washa bested Cristina Bremar 6-2, 6-1 in the fifth singles match. Freshman
Madeline Muotka won the No. 6 singles match against Julie Donnelly by the scores of 6-1, 6-2.
Minnesota State travels to Orlando, Fla., for its annual spring break trip beginning on Sunday, March 4, against Missouri Western State.
