AUSTIN, Texas --- Minnesota State's
McKenna DeMarce has earned CSC Academic All-American Second Team honors for her efforts on the court and in the classroom this past season.
DeMarce is the second Maverick tennis player to earn CSC Academic All-American honors.
Brandi Dohman was named to the CSC Academic All-American Third Team back in 2013. DeMarce owns a 4.0 GPA and is majoring in communication sciences and disorders and American Sign Language.
A senior from Las Vegas, Nevada, DeMarce went 8-6 in singles matches this past season, including an 8-4 record in No. 2 singles matches. She also went 9-6 in No. 1 doubles matches with her teammate
Julia Gurholt. DeMarce owns a 4.0 GPA and was majoring in communication sciences and disorders.
Minnesota State finished its season with an 11-4 record as it advanced to the finals of the NSIC Tournament.
