INDIANAPOLIS --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team held the sixth ranking in the most recent edition of the NCAA Central Region rankings.
The NCAA Central Region includes teams from the NSIC, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC). The postseason tournament winner from each conference receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on May 8-9 and will be joined by the next three highest ranked teams in the final selections.
Augustana earned an automatic bid for winning the NSIC Tournament. The MIAA and the GAC will hold their conference tournaments this weekend.
The NCAA women's tennis selection show will air on NCAA.com on Monday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m. (CST).
