ST. PETER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team won its second dual of the season as it defeated the University of Sioux Falls by the score of 6-3.
With the win, MSU improved to 2-1 overall and in conference action while USF fell to 2-1 on the season, including a 0-1 mark in NSIC action.
The Mavericks began the day winning two of the three doubles matches.

Sarah McCann and freshman
Killian Doran won the first doubles match 8-1, while sophomore
Melissa Mashburn and freshman
Destiny Lee won the second doubles match 8-6.
MSU finished the day winning four of the six singles matches to secure the 6-3 win.
Doran won the No. 1 singles match in three sets by the scores of 5-7, 6-4 and 11-9, while McCann won the third singles match by the scores of 7-6, 5-7 and 10-3. Lee won the fourth singles match by the scores of 3-6, 6-1, 12-10, while freshman
Andrea Erdman won the No. 6 singles match by the scores of 6-2, 7-5.

Minnesota State returns to action on Saturday as it squares of with the Upper Iowa Peacocks in Winona, Minn. The dual is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
