ST. PETER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team dropped a pair of duals Saturday as it fell to Gustavus Adolphus 9-0 and St. Scholastica 7-2.

The Mavericks now own a 3-9 record on the season.
Minnesota State began the day with a 9-0 loss to Gustavus Adolphus.
The Gusties began the day winning all three of the doubles matches against the Mavericks. The pairing of junior
Shealyn Bakke and senior
Alexis Ronney put forth the best effort in the No. 2 doubles match as they fell to Annie Mahoney and Lizzy Stancyzk 9-7.
The Mavericks lost all six of the singles matches against GAC, including five in straight sets. Bakke, the lone Maverick to go to a deciding third set, fell to Sidney Dirks 6-7 (9-11), 6-0, 10-6.
MSU wrapped up its day with a 7-2 loss to St. Scholastica.

Alexis Haakedahl as they fell to Jessica Solberg and Alexas Herbst 9-7 in the No. 2 doubles match.
MSU finished the dual winning two of the six singles matches against the Saints. Sophomore
Sarah McCann won the No. 1 singles match over Alexis Gunderson 6-3, 6-3, while Ronney claimed the No. 4 singles match over Pamela Hartley 6-2, 3-6, 1-0.
The Mavericks return to action Tuesday, March 11, as they take on Stonehill College in Orlando, Fla.
