MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State wrestling team is set to travel to Aberdeen, S.D., for its last NSIC dual of the regular season Thursday as it faces Northern State.  The tilt will start at 7 p.m. at Wachs Arena. 
 
The Wolves are 4-11 overall with a 0-7 mark on the circuit.  The Mavericks sit 2-9 on the season and are 2-5 in NSIC action after dropping a 36-6 decision to #3 St. Cloud State Feb. 13 in Taylor Center.
 
NSU's last time out, in which they forfeited three matches, was a loss to the University of Mary, 25-19, Feb. 13.
 
Minneosta State freshman Darick Vancura (165 lbs.) got back to his winning ways, improving on his team-high 24 wins with a victory over St. Cloud State's Gabe Fogarty in his last outing. 
 
Senior Brendan Eichmann (174 lbs.), who has spent the majority of the season competing in the 197 lbs. weight class, has won his last three matches.
 
Following the dual at Northern State, the Mavericks next action will be at the NCAA Division II Super Region 3 Tournament beginning on Feb. 28, in Edmond Okla.
