Box Score MANKATO, Minn. --- Three straight power-play goals by Minnesota Duluth in the first two periods proved fatal for Minnesota State as it dropped a 6-2 decision to the Bulldogs in Western Collegiate Hockey Association action Friday night at All Seasons Arena.

The Mavericks now stand 3-4-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the WCHA, while UMD moves to 3-3-1 overall and 1-3-1 within the league.

The Bulldog power-play connected twice more in the second stanza staking UMD to a 3-1 lead after 40 minutes. Freshman

Zoe Hickel at 5:58, before Kenyon tallied her second of the evening after a scramble in front of the net at 15:31.

Minnesota Duluth cemented the victory with three additional goals in the third period, while the Mavericks mustered one of their own on the man advantage. Hickel lit the lamp at 1:22, and freshman
Demi Crossman notched her first of the season at 10:52, both even-strength. Junior
Kathleen Rogan (Vancouver, B.C.) scored her team-leading fifth marker of the year on the power-play at 15:46 off an assist by senior
Lauren Barnes (Burnsville, Minn.), but Hickel would add an empty-net goal at 18:13 to complete the final.
