Head coach
Jim Makovsky had this to say about Norgren:
“Aaron is a very talented, explosive athlete and also one of the goofballs on the team. He has a lot of athletic ability and is a goer. After going through a little adversity breaking his leg last year, he is starting to turn the corner and getting back to the top of his game.”
Q: Why did you choose to come to MSU?
A: Because I got to sign early for wrestling and at that time I just wanted to get it out of the way.
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
A: Yes kind of I guess, but those are secret.
Q: What is the number one song played on your Ipod right now?
A: Probably Cruise by Florida Georgia line
Q: What is your favorite memory as a wrestler?
A: I don’t really have a memory, more of the memory of a feeling. At the end of each season there is an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment and that is something I will never forget.
Q: What do you like to do when you are not wrestling?
A: Watch movies and lay in bed
Q: What is your favorite food?
A) Sushi for sure
Q: If you could be any animal what would it be and why?
A: Probably a wolf. Not really any particular reason just because.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
A: A desert anywhere, it is way too cold in Minnesota. I would rather be way too hot than way too cold.
Q: What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
A: I can wiggle my ears
Q: What are your plans after you wrestling career is over?
A: I have two options that I haven’t really decided on. Either join Tom Block, a wrestling alumni from MSU, in the army rangers or move down to New Mexico and try to get in to be a border patrol agent.
