Mankato, Minn. -- Minnesota State wrestled hard all night but only came away with wins at 157-lb and 125-lb en route to a 31-6 defeat to the nation's top-ranked St. Cloud State Huskies.

The dual started at 133-lbs where senior Brian Reisenauer fell to No. 4 Andy Pokorny in a 17-3 major decision.  Following back-to-back losses at 141-lb and 149-lb, senior Tel Todd defeated Josh Howk in a thrilling 2-1 decision.  Todd used an escape at 3:06 to earn the first points of the match.  Howk evened the match at 5:27 with an escape of his own.  The match came down to riding time, where Todd held the advantage and captured the win.

SCSU would win the next five matches, including three major decision wins, before MSU would get back on the board in the last match of the night.  Sophomore David Demo defeated Dylan Wright in a 12-8 decision.  Demo used three takedowns and three escapes in the win.

MSU will travel to Marshall, Minn. on Saturday to wrestle Southwest Minnesota State University before competing in regionals in St. Cloud on Sunday, February 26.
