About the MSU-MTU Series: MSU split a road series at Tech back in November (1-0 loss and 6-3 win) to stand 24-15-4 in the all-time series between the two schools. The first game between the Mavericks and the Huskies dates back to the 1996-97 season.
Most Recently: Now 9-18-1 overall and 5-14-1 WCHA after splitting a two-game WCHA series at Bemidji State (2-1 loss, 5-2 win), MSU has gone 4-3-0 in its last seven games and has earned splits in the last four consecutive weekends (loss Friday, win Saturday vs. St. Lawrence, Wisconsin, Nebraska-Omaha and Bemidji State).
About Michigan Tech: The Huskies enter the series with the Mavericks standing 12-12-2 overall, 9-7-2 WCHA on the year. Tech, which has gone 3-1-1 in its last five contests, earned a 4-4 tie and a 5-0 win at #1-rated Minnesota Duluth last weekend in its most-recent action.
