MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's and women's hockey teams will host a pair of youth games to open their upcoming 2026-27 seasons at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.

"We are excited to continue to build our relationship with ISD 77," said Senior Associate Director of Athletics Scott Nelsen. "We look forward to welcoming nearly 3,600 students to the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, some of which will be attending their first ever hockey game."

Friday, Sept. 25 will see the Minnesota State women's hockey team host their second youth game as the Mavericks take on RPI at 11:00 a.m. The Maverick women's hockey team will host nearly 1,800 3rd-5th, graders from ISD 77 and fans are asked to sit in section 203. Limited concessions will be available.

The second youth game will be held on Friday, Oct. 2 during the Minnesota State men's hockey exhibition against Manitoba. Puck drop will be at 11:30 a.m., as the Mavericks host nearly 1,800 6th-8th, graders from ISD 77.

MSU fans will be asked to sit in section 202, 203 and 204. Ticket prices are $10 plus sales tax for adults, $5 plus sales tax for students, with MSU students receiving free admission with a MavCard. Minnesota State students will be asked to sit in section 201.

Concessions will be open during the men's game against Manitoba, but no alcohol will be served.
