Charlotte, N.C. --- The Minnesota State men’s track team saw two student-athletes participate in the 2010 NCAA Division II Championships Saturday.
In the 800-meter run, senior Denise Mokaya, the reigning indoor champion at the distance, finished 12th with a time of 1:51.22. Mark Husted of the Colorado School of Mines won the race with a time of 1:48.65.
Sophomore pole vaulter Dan Novak finished failed to reach a height in the pole vault. Western Washington’s Ryan Brown won the meet with height of 17’8 ½”.
Minnesota State did not record any team points in the meet.
