MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's and women's hockey teams have announced intersquad scrimmages, which are free and open to the public at the Pond on Madison. Both teams will also be signing autographs.

 
WOMEN'S FORMAT
When – Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 6:15 p.m.
What – 3x3 Intersquad Games with autographs after the game
Where – The Pond on Madison (UNRL Rink)
The UNRL Rink on Madison Avenue in Mankato features a smaller than NHL size sheet of ice, creating an electrifying atmosphere for games. The complex also houses a Crooked Pint Ale House restaurant, golf simulators, duckpin bowling, an arcade, Green Mill To Go pizza takeout, a coffee shop, an event space, and a Hockey Academy for student-athletes.

 
MEN'S FORMAT
When – Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6:00 p.m.
What – 3x3 Intersquad Games with autographs after the game
Where – The Pond on Madison (UNRL Rink)
 
The Minnesota State women's hockey team opens its season at home in the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center as it hosts RPI on Sept. 25-26. Puck drops are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The Minnesota State men's hockey team hosts Manitoba in an exhibition contest on Oct. 2 at 11:30 a.m., before opening its regular season schedule against Wisconsin on Oct. 9-10 at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. Puck drops against Wisconsin are scheduled for 7:07 p.m. and 6:07 p.m.
