MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's and women's track and field teams record many first place finishes at the Todd Pfingsten Open Wednesday.
The men's and women's track and field teams wrap up their regular season schedules on Saturday at the
Tim Marshall Open in Mankato, Minn.
Men
The 110m hurdles event saw
Keaton Wattier record the 14th best time in Division II with a time of 14.00.
Jalen McGee followed in second place with a time of 14.17 as well.
Sebastian Bari led the Mavericks in the 100m event with a time of 10.98 to finish in fourth place.
The 200m event saw McGee take first place with a time of 22.27, while Bari posted a season best time of 22.34 in second place.
Davis Reinhard added a third place finish in the 400m event with a time of 52.01 also.
The 1,500m event saw
Erek Ross finish in first place with a personal best time of 3:55.28, with
Luis Pfister following in third place with a time of 3:58.95.
In the long jump,
Terrence Thomas recorded the 17th best jump in Division II this season as he led the field with a jump of 7.41m (24-03.75). The high jump saw
Hugo Albanese finish in first as well with a jump of 2.04m (6-8.25).
Collin Windorski led the way in the pole vault as he posted a season best of 4.79m (15-8.25), while
Nicholas Tucker and
Ryan Heiden both followed with vaults of 4.34m (14-2.75).
Hayden Bills took first in the discus with a throw of 57.58m (188-11), with
Dylan Gross following in second with a throw of 55.10m (180-9).
Ben Wieser would take second place in the shot put (16.24m, 53-3.5) and fourth place in the hammer throw (50.12m, 164-5).
Women
Esaba Okwaramoi recorded a personal best in the 200m with a time of 24.89 as she finished in third.
Nikita Lebbie posted a time of 12.60 in the 100m to take fifth place.
Gianna Figueroa took second in the 800m as she posted a personal best time of 2:21.55, with
Danielle Malone following in fifth with a time of 2:24.09.
Rusne Lataityte took fifth place in the 400m event with a time of 1:01.73 also.
Ashley Overgaauw led the Mavericks in the 1,500m event with a season best of 4:46.19, while
Olivia Minear took third in the 5,000m event with a time of 19:12.65.
Madison Matzek led the field in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 11:12.34, with
Mileena Sullivan following in second with a time of 11:15.81.
Aubri Brown took first place in the hammer throw event with a thrown of 55.12m (180-10) and third place in the shot put with a throw of 12.83m (42-1.25).
Elise Jensen led the field in the discus with a throw of 48.30m (158-05), while
Katelin Flack led the way in the javelin with a throw of 33.04m (108-4).
The long jump saw
Dorcus Opoku lead the field with a jump of 6.05m (19-10.25).
Willow Oehmichen took first in the pole vault event as she notched the 43rd best vault in Division II with a vault of 3.79m (12-5.25).
