Tim Marshall

Tim Marshall was named MSU’s Assistant Director of Operations and Finance in March of 1999 and promoted to Associate AD in 2009.

In addition to day-to-day fiscal responsibilities for the department, Marshall oversees game operations and is responsible for athletic budgets, purchasing, team travel and MSU Athletics ticket sales.

During his tenure with the Mavericks, the Roseville, Minn., native has helped oversee hosting numerous conference and regional, and national events including the 2004 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships, the 2008 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships, and the 2012 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Marshall, who worked as a national account manager at Taylor Corporation for three years prior to assuming his current position, also served as the ticket operations manager for Ogden Corporation at the Mankato Civic Center for two years.  He spent 1994 with the University of Minnesota Athletics Ticket Office. 

Marshall, who owns a master’s degree from St. Cloud State and an undergraduate degree from St. John’s, served as the assistant tournament director for the College Hockey Showcase in 1994 and at the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Championships in 1994. 

As an assistant coach with the St. Ben's women's soccer team in 1990, Marshall was inducted into the St. Ben's College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.

Marshall resides in Mankato with his wife, Jennifer, daughter, Molly and son, Bailey.
