NEW ORLEANS --- The Minnesota State men's track and field team has been ranked second at checkpoint #3 of the USTFCCCA Division II outdoor track and field rankings.
The Mavericks are the highest rated NSIC team and trail only Grand Valley State in the overall rankings.
Hayden Bills owns the best mark in Division II in the discus event with a throw of 59.35m (194-8) and the third best throw in the shot put with a throw of 18.52m (60-9.5).
Rinaldo Moore ranks second in the nation in the 110m hurdles (13.67) and third in the 400m hurdles (51.18).
Dylan Gross also ranks third in the discus with a throw of 57.71 (189-4).
Minnesota State returns to action this Saturday at the Pitt State Tune Up in Pittsburg, Kan.
