MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State senior goaltender, Alex Tracy, has signed a two-way deal with the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL. Tracy will report to the Tahoe Knight Monsters of the ECHL.
The 2024-25 CCHA Goaltender of the Year and Player of the Year, Tracy played all but one game for the Mavericks this season. He leads the nation in shutouts (5) and is second in goals against average (1.80) while ranking eighth in save percentage (.927). He was a Second-Team All-CCHA selection this year after amassing 2365:05 minutes of ice time.
An ACHA/CCM Second-Team All-American last year, Tracy is second among active goaltenders in career wins (66) and is second in shutouts (13) and is fourth in saves (2,690) and save percentage (.927). He leaves MSU second in school history in shutouts, saves and save percentage, third in goals against average (1.88) and fourth in minutes played (6828.97).

Minnesota State finished the 2025-26 season with a 22-11-7 record, winning the CCHA regular season and post season championships.
