MANKATO, Minn. — Minnesota State freshman forward Mercury Bischoff (Cohasset, Minn.) earned her second career WCHA Rookie of the Week honor following the Mavericks' series against St. Cloud State.

Minnesota State split the weekend with the Huskies, dropping a 5–1 decision on Friday before rebounding with a 4–1 win on Saturday. Bischoff was a key contributor in both games, scoring the Mavericks' lone goal on Friday and adding a goal and an assist in Saturday's victory. She finished the weekend with three points.

The Mavericks return home this weekend to host No. 1 Wisconsin, with puck drop set for Friday at 3:02 p.m. and Saturday at 2:02 p.m.
