"We had a very successful weekend of track and field at Minnesota State, with our teams split between competitions at the University of Nebraska and the University of Minnesota," said head coach Mike Turgeon. "We took our national-level athletes to the University of Nebraska to gain experience on a banked 200m track and to compete against high-level competition. Many of the races and events featured competition comparable to what we expect to see at the national championships, and in a few cases, even higher. The remainder of our team competed today at the University of Minnesota."

On the track, Kenjuan Hampton and Qai Hussey finished fourth and fifth in men's 200 meters, with times of 21.62 and 21.72, respectively. Hugo Albanese tied for seventh in men's high jump with a height of 1.96m (6-5).
