BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota State women's basketball team was well represented on the 2026 NSIC All-Conference teams, as Natalie Bremer earned First Team honors and Mackenzie Schweim was named to the Second Team. Bremer was also selected as the NSIC South Division Player of the Year, while Hannah Herzig garnered Defensive Player of the Year recognition. In addition, Head Coach Emilee Thiesse was honored as the NSIC Coach of the Year, highlighting the program's standout performance throughout the 2025–26 regular season.

She scored in double figures in 22 games, knocked down multiple three-pointers in 11 contests, and delivered standout road performances with 32 points at Sioux Falls and 32 points at Augustana. Bremer also earned seven NSIC South Division Player of the Week honors and two WBCA/D2CIDA Division II National Player of the Week awards, while becoming the program's all-time leading scorer with 2,275 career points.

This marks her fourth career All-Conference selection after being named to the All-NSIC Second Team as a freshman and First Team in each of the last three seasons.

Schweim, a Second Team All-NSIC honoree, averaged 11.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting .442 from the field during her senior season. The Mankato, Minn., native finished as MSU's second-leading scorer and connected on 31 three-pointers, earning her first career All-Conference recognition and providing consistent scoring support throughout the season.

Herzig, the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year, anchored Minnesota State's defense all season, leading the NSIC in steals at 3.1 per game. She recorded three or more steals in nine conference games and tallied five or more rebounds in 18 NSIC contests, consistently disrupting passing lanes and finishing possessions, while moving into fourth all-time in program history with 273 career steals. With this honor, Herzig became the fourth Defensive Player of the Year in Minnesota State history.

Coach Thiesse, the 2026 NSIC Coach of the Year, guided the Mavericks to a 27–1 overall regular-season record and a 21–1 mark in NSIC play, securing the program's second NSIC Regular Season Championship and third NSIC South Division title. She also earned her 280th career win, the most by a head coach in program history.
