BURNSVILLE, Minn. - For the second time this season, Minnesota State senior Miranda Lauvstad earned NSIC Field Athlete of the Week honors on Monday (Feb. 23). The Mavericks host the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Myers Field House Feb. 27-28.

Miranda Lauvstad (Multis, Sr., Nesoeya, Norway / Norges Toppidrettsgymnas) - Minnesota State
- Won the long jump at the Maverick Open with a mark of 6.19m (20-3.75)
- Mark ranks fourth in NCAA Division II this season
- Continues to hold the No. 1 long jump mark in NCAA Division II this season (6.24m)
- Also helped team win the 4x400 relay with a time ranking 29th in NCAA Division II
- Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season (2/3/26)

Minnesota State women's track and field is currently ranked No. 5 in NCAA Division II.
