BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Minnesota State sophomore Hayden Bills was named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season on Monday (Feb. 16) following his performance at the Ted Nelson Classic at Myers Field House.

Hayden Bills (Throws, So., Rosemount, Minn. / Rosemount HS) - Minnesota State
- Won the shot put at the Ted Nelson Classic with a mark of 61-11 (18.87m,)
- The throw would rank as the fourth longest in NCAA Division II this season
- His mark of 19.09m at the Chuck Peterson Open ranks third nationally
- Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season (12/9/25 & 1/27/26)

No. 5 Minnesota State women's track and field hosts the Mavericks Open on Friday, February 20 at Myers Field House. There will be a special presentation at the meet to honor the senior members of the squad.
