BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference named Minnesota State sprinter Keshaun Black (Mooresville, N.C.) conference men's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday (Feb. 9).

Black competed over the weekend at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska for the Mavericks. The No. 5 Mavericks host the Ted Nelson Classic at Myers Field House on February 14.

Keshaun Black (Sprints, Tr., Mooresville, N.C. / Mooresville  HS) - Minnesota State
- Set the MSU record in 60-meter dash at the 50th Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational
- In the prelims, ran a time of 6.65 
- The NCAA Provision time is tied for the fifth fasted in NCAA Division II this season
- Ran a time of 6.66 in the 60-meter finals to finish in first place
