MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State baseball team opens the 2026 season ranked No. 11 in the ABCA NCAA Division II Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Mavericks are coming off a fantastic 2025 season in which they posted a 51-8 overall record and earned 205 points in the final poll. Minnesota State's season ended in the NCAA Division II Central Regional Tournament with a loss to Pittsburg State.
Minnesota State opens the 2026 campaign Feb. 13–15, traveling to Joplin, Mo., to face Indianapolis and McKendree.
