BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State junior
Arhman Lewis has been named the NSIC South Division Player of the Week for his efforts on the court last weekend.
A guard from Madison, Wis., Lewis averaged a team-leading 18.0 points and 8.5 assists per game last weekend as he helped the Mavericks defeat Northern State and Jamestown. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds per game and shot 15-of-26 (.577) from the field. Lewis recorded 20 points and nine assists against NSU, before finishing the weekend with 16 points and eight assists against Jamestown.
Lewis is the second Maverick to be named the NSIC South Division Player of the Week this season. Senior
Malcolm Jones previously received the honor back on Nov. 18.
Minnesota State returns to action on the road this Friday as it takes on Minnesota Crookston. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Lysaker Gymnasium.
