BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State sophomore Emerson Garlie has been named the NSIC Golfer of the Week for her efforts at the Jewell Invitational.

Garlie finished first at the Jewell Invitational and was the only player to finish under par at -1 (71-70—141). She notched seven birdies and a hole in one on the par-3, 168 yard hole 15th hole.

Garlie is the first Maverick women's golfer to earn NSIC Golfer of the Week honors since Anna Cihak did so back on March 13, 2024.   

Minnesota State returns to action on Sept. 27-28 as it travels to Marshall, Minn., to compete in the SMSU Fall Invite.
