WINGATE, N.C. – The Minnesota State baseball team remains ranked No. 7 in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, marking the second consecutive week at that position.
The Mavericks held steady in the national rankings following a series sweep against Concordia-St. Paul and a 2-1 series win over Augustana. Note: Results from the Wayne State doubleheader were not included in this week's poll.
Up next, Minnesota State will close out regular season conference play at home with a three-game series against Southwest Minnesota State. The teams will face off in a doubleheader on Friday, with first pitch set for 1:30 p.m., followed by a single game at noon on Saturday.
