SAVANNAH, Ga. – Minnesota State graduate left wing
Zach Krajnik (Eagle River, Alaska) has signed a professional contract to join the Savannah Ghost Pirates (ECHL, Florida Panthers).

Krajnik played four seasons for the Mavericks and appeared in 126 total games. He posted 13 goals, 26 assists and 39 points with 36 penalty minutes. Notably, Krajnik has been exceptional in the postseason. In 2022-23, he scored the overtime game-winning goal in the CCHA Mason Cup Championship against Northern Michigan.

This spring, he posted his first career hat trick in the CCHA Mason Cup quarterfinals against Lake Superior State. He also totaled five goals and two assists in five playoff games, including one assist in the NCAA Fargo Region Semifinals against top-ranked Western Michigan.

Before coming to the Mavericks, Krajnik played three seasons in the North American Hockey League with Kenai River and tallied 132 points in 155 games for the Brown Bears.
Krajnik is the fifth Minnesota State player to sign a professional contract following the conclusion of the 2024-25 collegiate hockey season. He joins former Maverick
Connor Gregga on the Ghost Pirates. Others to sign contracts include
