WEST FARGO, N.D. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team finished second at the NSIC Championships Saturday evening.
Augustana finished first at the NSIC Championships with 944 points. The Mavericks followed in second with 879 points, while St. Cloud State finished third with 688.5 points.
"We had a fantastic week of racing and competing in Fargo," head coach
Nathan Owens said. "Our women battled an amazing and talented Augustana team every session. We had a huge effort from our senior class.
"It was great to have Abby post a quick time in the 100 Back which should be invited. We got two big relay cut times this week the 200 Medley on Wednesday and the 200 Free relay in a time trial on the last day. We also had a ton of B-cuts and lifetime best times from the entire team. We couldn't be more proud of the team's effort this week. A lot of good things happened."
