Bremer earns NSIC South Division Player of the Week

Bremer Repeats as NSIC South Division Player of the Week

BURNSVILLE, Minn. –  For the second week in a row, Minnesota State's Natalie Bremer has been named the NSIC South Division Player of the Week after delivering another impressive pair of performances.

Bremer averaged 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals across the two victories, shooting .552 from the field and .778 at the free-throw line. She opened the week with a 22-point performance in No. 2-ranked MSU's 87–80 win at Winona State, then followed with 18 points in a 104–66 victory over No. 24 Concordia-St. Paul. She added two steals in each contest, contributing to the Mavericks' nation-leading average of 21.1 steals per game.

Through nine games, Bremer is averaging 20.6 points per game, placing her fourth in the NSIC and eighth nationally. This honor marks her second straight NSIC Player of the Week selection this season.

Bremer and the Mavericks return to the court on Thursday, Dec. 11, when they host Wayne State at 7:30 p.m. inside the Taylor Center.
