DEEPHAVEN, Minn. – Two Minnesota State men's hockey student-athletes earned weekly honors from the Central Collegiate Hockey Association on Monday (Dec. 1). Senior Alex Tracy (Chicago, Ill.) was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week for the third straight week and senior Tristan Lemyre (Mirabel, Quebec) earned CCHA Forward of the Week for the first time in his Maverick career.
 
Tracy totaled 35 saves for his 10^th career shutout on Friday at Northern Michigan, the most saves in a shutout win in his career. He posted another 31 saves on Saturday in a 3-2 victory, helping MSU to its sixth straight win and a road sweep. With 66 saves against 68 shots at NMU, Tracy posted a .971 save percentage in the series.
 
Tracy currently ranks ninth in NCAA Division I save percentage (.936) and 10^th in goals against average (1.78). He leads all NCAA Division I goaltenders in career wins with 55. A 2024-25 Mike Richter Award finalist, Tracy has been named CCHA Goaltender of the Week 12 times in his Maverick career.
 
Lemyre recorded two goals and one assist against Northern Michigan and scored on the power play to give the Mavericks a 2-1 lead on Saturday. He skated to an empty net tally at even strength on Friday and totaled five shots on goal and one blocked shot. Lemyre leads MSU with eight goals and ranks second in points with 16.
 
Minnesota State (10-2-4, 7-1-2 CCHA) is currently on a six-game win streak and is home to host Ferris State (3-11-0, 2-6-0 CCHA) on Friday, Dec. 5 at 7:07 p.m. CT and Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6:07 p.m. CT.
