Mavericks Ranked #16/18 in National Polls

MANKATO, Minn. - The Minnesota State men's hockey team was ranked No. 16 by USCHO.com and No. 18 by USA Hockey/The Rink Live in Monday's week six NCAA Division I National Rankings Polls.

The Mavericks (4-2-4, 1-1-2 CCHA) earned a pair of overtime ties over the weekend at home against Bowling Green. This week, the team travels to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to play Lake Superior State at Taffy Abel Arena.

Michigan State remained the top-ranked team in the nation after a sweep of Penn State. MSU was the only team in the CCHA to be ranked inside the top-20. Michigan Tech, Augustana and Bemidji State received votes.
