DEEPHAVEN, Minn. – Minnesota State men's hockey senior
Alex Tracy (Chicago, Ill.) was recognized as the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's Goaltender of the Week on Monday (Oct. 20).

Tracy made 29 saves, including one in overtime to help the Mavericks secure a 1-1 tie at No. 17 Wisconsin Thursday night at Kohl Center. Tracy then made 31 saves on Friday night to help preserve a 2-2 tie in Madison, including 12 saves in the third period.

Tracy totaled 50 saves on 53 shots against in the series for a .943 save percentage (he also made nine combined saves in two exhibition shootouts). With starts in all four regular season games so far, Tracy holds a 1-1-2 record.

Monday marked the eighth time in his career Tracy earned CCHA Goaltender of the Week (four last season).

The Mavericks open their home slate this weekend, hosting RPI on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:07 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6:07 p.m. The team will unveil banners on Friday, commemorating 2024-25 MacNaughton Cup and Mason Cup titles. Saturday, MSU honors its seniors in a pregame ceremony.
