Aidan Byrne and
Matthew Fleischhacker have been named Northwoods League All-Stars and will compete for the Great Plains Division team.
The 2024 Northwood League All-Star Game will be held on Tuesday, July 23, at ISG Field in Mankato, Minn. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. (CST).
A shortstop from Eagan, Minn.,
Aidan Byrne has played in 29 games for the Willmar Stingers and is batting .314 with eight doubles, three home runs and 23 RBI. He also ranks third on the team in runs scored with 28 and has stolen 13 bases.
An infielder from Woodbury, Minn.,
Matthew Fleischhacker has played in 38 games for the Mankato MoonDogs this summer. He is batting .310 with 44 hits, including eight doubles. Fleischhacker leads the team in runs scored with 27 and has driven in 27 runs as well. He also ranks third on the team in stolen bases with 12.
