"We looked sharp today and performed much better than last week," head coach
Nathan Owens said. "It was good to see so many swimmers step up and post really good early season times, especially in the longer 200 races. There were two relay events that we posted some fast times in. Across the board, it was great to see a lot of strong racing.
"Our divers also had a good day on the boards competing in La Crosse against a strong field of divers. The goal will be to build on these performances week to week. We've got another fun meet next week in Marshall, Minn. vs. Southwest Minnesota State and Concordia St. Paul."
The Mavericks finished first in both relay events at the Rochester Invite. In the 200 medley relay the team of
Abby Gronholz,
