Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State junior defenseman
Jake Livingstone was named an
ACHA/CCM Second Team West All-American the American Hockey Coaches Association announced this evening.

Livingstone, who late last month signed a professional contract with the Nashville Predators, tallied eight goals and 27 assists for 35 points this past season.  The 27 assists led the team, while the 35 points were the second-highest total on the team.Â

This past year, Livingstone was no stranger to accolades as he was a
First-Team All-CCHA member and was the league's
Defenseman of the Year, an award which he also won in 2022. Livingstone was a four-time
CCHA Defenseman of the Week and was also the league's
Defenseman of the Month for the month of October.

As a Maverick, Livingstone appeared in 111 games, scoring 21 goals and passing out 59 assists, for 80 career points. Additionally, he blocked 129 shots, including a career-high 53 this season. During his time as a Maverick, Livingstone was a part of teams that went 85-24-2, played on three MacNaughton Cup Championship teams, two Mason Cup Championship teams, qualified for three NCAA Tournaments, two Frozen Fours and earned one trip to the national championship game.Â

Livingstone becomes the 12th former Maverick to be named an All-American since the school transitioned to NCAA Division I. Other Minnesota State All-American include forwardsÂ
