MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team has moved up to 11th in the latest edition of the WBCA Poll.
The Mavericks, which were ranked 13th in last week's poll, improved to 11th after defeating Winona State (65-42) and Upper Iowa (99-82) last week.
MSU is one of two NSIC teams ranked in the top-25. Minnesota Duluth improves to ninth after defeating Minnesota Crookston (99-52) and Bemidji State (84-62) last week. Augustana is receiving votes.
Minnesota State will take on the winner of the game between Wayne State and UMary in the second round of the NSIC Tournament on Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
