INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Minnesota State football team has appeared in the first edition of the NCAA regional rankings.
MSU is one of 10 teams under considerations in Super Region Four, including three other NSIC teams in Augustana, Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth.
The 33-team NCAA Super Region Four includes teams from the NSIC, the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
The NCAA DII playoffs will feature 28 teams, with the No. 1 seeds of each super region receiving a first-round bye. The NCAA DII football selection show is set to air of NCAA.com on Sunday, November 13, at 5:00 p.m. (CST).
