MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State Director of Athletics Kevin Buisman has announced season tickets for football and basketball will soon be available for purchase and renewal for the upcoming season.
Season ticket self-service online renewals and sales will begin Tuesday, May 26 at www.msumavericks.com/SeasonTickets, while assisted, in-person service will begin Monday, July 6 at the Maverick Athletic Office.
Maverick football – which has posted a winning season in each of the last 17 seasons, finished the 2025 campaign with a 10-4 record, advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
The 2026 season features five home games, with the Mavericks opening the home portion of its schedule Saturday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m., against Bemidji State and the annual Homecoming game will be played on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. when Minnesota State will tackle the Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears. Football season tickets are $108/seat for this upcoming season. The Mavericks are coached by Todd Hoffner who is in his 16th season leading the program.
Maverick basketball tickets for the 2025-26 season are also on sale as both teams look to continue the level of excellence that our fans have become accustomed to. Under head coach Matt Margenthaler – who is entering his 26th season on the Maverick bench – the Maverick men’s schedule will feature 13 home games. On the women’s side, head coach Emilee Thiesse – who is in her 15th season with the Mavericks – will play 11 home games this upcoming season. Season tickets for the 2025-26 men’s and women’s basketball season are $175.
Minnesota State students receive free admission to all regular season home events hosted on campus, including football and basketball, with a valid MavCard.
