MANKATO, Minn. --- #9 Minnesota State continues concludes its three-game homestand this weekend as it takes on the Augustana Vikings on Friday and the Wayne State Wildcats on Saturday. Tip-offs are both scheduled for 7:00 p.m., at Taylor Center.
Minnesota State History: The 2022-23 season marks the 101st campaign as a varsity sport for Minnesota State men's basketball. The Mavericks are 1,406-933 (.601) in 2,339 games since the program's inception in the 1920-21 season. MSU capped its 33rd and final season as a member of the NCC in 2008 and owned a 283-267 (.515) record in 550 league games played. In the NSIC, MSU owns a 202-93 (.684) record to go with four regular-season championships and two tournament championships.
Against the Vikings: Friday's game between Minnesota State and Augustana marks their 126th all-time meeting with MSU leading the series 68-57. The Vikings won both meetings against the Mavericks last season, including an 85-74 win in their most recent outing.

Malik Willingham tallied 13 points and four rebounds. Sophomore

Against the Wildcats: Saturday's game between Minnesota State and Wayne State marks their 36th meeting, with the Mavericks owning a 29-6 record against the Wildcats. MSU and WSC split their season series last season, including an 81-76 win for the Mavericks in their most recent encounter.

Kyreese Willingham tallied 20 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore
Malik Willingham netted 15 points and five assists.
Nate Mohr led the Wildcats with 24 points and three steals, while Justin Eagins tallied 18 points and four rebounds.
