ST. PAUL, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team won four events as it finished first at the Joann Andregg Invitational.
The Mavericks recorded 721 points, while St. Cloud State finished second with 689 points. St. Thomas finished third with 645 points.
Sophomore
Abby Gronholz took first place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.51, with junior
Ella DeFever following in second with a time of 59.76.
Junior
Olivia Hudoba won the 200 freestyle event with a time of 1:59.30, while freshman
Alexandra Gorecki won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:09.99. Senior
Mari Doherty took second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:10.09 as well.
Senior
Ayla Taylor took third place in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 410.90, while junior
Aspen Warnygora finished second in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 245.05.
