Larchwood, Iowa --- The Minnesota State women's golf team turned in a third-place finish at the NCAA Super Region Preview held at The Falls at Grand Falls Casino in Larchwood, Iowa the past two days.
The Mavericks combined to shoot back-to-back rounds of 322 for a two-round total of 644. There were 11 teams at the tournament, which was won by Augustana with a tournament-best 609.
Minnesota State junior
Anna Cihak fired rounds of 75 and 83 with her 36-hole total of 158 placing her in a tie for 15th.
Seniors
Madi McGinty (82-79--161) and
Sam Soulier (82-79--161) tied for 19th at the tournament. Other Mavericks competing included

Samantha Youngquist (t30th, 84-81--165) and
Delaney Conrad (t43rd,83-87--170),
The Mavericks will resume action in the spring.
