WACO, Texas --- The Minnesota State football team has been ranked 24th in the latest edition of the AFCA Poll.
The Mavericks, who were receiving votes last week, reentered the poll after defeating Sioux Falls 38-24 on the road last weekend.
MSU is one of two NSIC teams ranked in the top-25. Sioux Falls fell from 19th to 25th after its loss to the Mavericks. Winona State, Wayne State and Bemidji State are receiving votes.
Minnesota State continues its season on Saturday as it hosts Southwest Minnesota State. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., at Blakeslee Stadium.
